Grow and Diversify
As a Chamber of Commerce, business development is a high priority as we work together to grow and diversify our economic base in the greater Federal Way area.
Enhancing the economic vitality of life in the south Puget Sound region takes partnership. It needs resources. By connecting you to business leaders, the workforce, and other resources, the Chamber creates a stronger, more dynamic climate that can make a difference in the success of your company. Throughout the year, the Chamber offers seminars, workshops and other programing to support skill development in your business.
The Small Business Development Center at Highline College specializes in providing business and training services to entrepreneurs and existing businesses in order to be successful in today's economy. Businesses need to register with the State of Washington and complete a business license application. The City of Federal Way regulates all businesses that operate within the city limits. The City staff at the Permitting Center work in collaboration with South King Fire & Rescue and the Lakehaven Water & Sewer District on business permitting, code review and inspection.
